dc.description.abstract "Our penguin, covered in mirrors, is interactive with its environment, changing depending upon what is refelcted on its surface. No matter where the penguin is placed, indoors or outdoors, it will reflect the pride of our city and the pride of our people." Lynn Cardwell has a B.A. in English from YSU with minors in music and art. She has been a professional potter and teacher since 1996 and maintains a studio in Youngstown. She has exhibited in juried fine art and craft festivals throughout Ohio, and has won numerous awards. Marcie Roepke-Applegate studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design, received her BFA from YSU, and maintains a studio in Youngstown. She has won awards in local and regional shows and her work is in permanent collections throughout the country. en_US
