dc.description.abstract | "My father, Bob Fowler, and my abstract/color-field paintings are the two inspirations for my penguin design. My father worked in the paint shop at the GM plant in Lordstown. Growing up, I was introduced to the concepts of color, design, line, and shape, while watching him detail and pinstripe automobiles. This unconventional introduction to painting led me to pursue my BFA." Todd Fowler has a BFA from YSU with a concentration in Painting, Mixed Media, and Installation. He lives in Youngstown and maintains two jobs while pursuing work as a freelance artist. | en_US |
