This photograph depicts Ohio Highway Patrolmen with money sacks from the Dollar Savings and Trust Company in Youngstown, Ohio. These sacks, once filled with polio vaccination kits, are full of money. They are assisting with the Type II Sabin oral polio vaccine immunization program in Youngstown, which occurred February 15-17, 1962, and was reportedly the first in the nation. |
