dc.description.abstract This X-ray machine/flouroscope was manufactured by Koch & Sterzel AG of Dresden, Germany in 1929. It consists of numerous parts including table, which could be turned up-right, stand, mahogany and cherry wood cabinet containing the generator, control panel, and four electric rods. It was used by Dr. Erhard Weltman in his medical practice in Berlin, Germany, before he fled the Nazis in 1937. He brought the machine with him and used it in his practice in downtown Youngstown, OH in the Home Savings & Loan Building from 1939 until his retirement in the late 1970s. en_US
