dc.description.abstract Jim Morrison, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. Due to a lack of quorum, no usual Senate actions could be taken. However, the Senate, with unanimous approval, presented a resolution of appreciation to Jim Morrison for his long service as chair of the Senate. The Elections and Balloting Committee submitted a written report noting Daryl Mincey as Ohio Faculty Council representative. Academic Standards Committee gave context to a motion which will be presented at the next Senate meeting. Academic Programs Committee reported that several proposals were in the circulation phase. New business pertained to the Professional Conduct Policy appeal.
