dc.description.abstract	President Howard Jones presided. Mr Ives reported on the recent fire drills. The first order of business was the selection of an elected member of the Executive Committee. Reports of the Curriculum Committee were presented. Two topics from the Curriculum Committee required discussion, the revision of the University Seminar and the adoption of a new combined major in American Studies.
