Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of January 12, 1963

Abstract

President Jones presided. Jones reported on the number of full-time and part-time students who have applied for admission. Dean Smith commented that the American College Test was given in November to 643 entering Freshmen for next year. My. Dykema reported on the possibility of changing the present schedule for Summer School. He also reported on the action of the Academic Standards to committee to have an average grade point average of 3.2 be the minimum for inclusion in the Dean's List. There is continued discussion on the credit by examination.
