dc.description.abstract	Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. Roderick Chu, Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents, has submitted his resignation as Chancellor to the Board of Regents. Elections and Balloting Committee reported at-large Senate seats for next year will be counted Friday and nominations were taken from vacancies for the Charter and Bylaws Committee. Academic Program Committee reported on approved program changes. Undergraduate Curriculum Committee reported on approved course changes. Academic Planning Committee recommended guidelines for scheduling Summer courses for Summer 2007. General Education Committee reported on Transfer Assurance Guides, new policies on Intensives and a list of new intensive courses. The Library Committee reported on the library acquisitions budget. A NCAA report was given by Jane Kestner under New Business.
