dc.description.abstract	President Jones presided. Dean Dykema reports on the Academic Standards Committee, the discontinuation of the honor roll, and a statement on professional ethics. President Jones announced that Mr. Paul Cress has been hired to be in charge of security for the University. Dr. Roberts reported on the Committee on Academic Planning and Development. President Jones introduced Dr. Hyde, President of Evansville College, as a consultant representing North Central. Pre-registration is available for students. Mr. Buchanan, Registrar is retiring after 43 years of service.
