dc.description.abstract	Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. Nominations are taken for Senate Chair and the Charter and Bylaws Committee members. The new Provost and new Board of Trustees members are introduced. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported a list of Senate seats filled since the last meeting is attached to the agenda. The Academic Programs Committee attached a list of programs approved after May's Senate meeting to the agenda. In New Business a resolution is passed concerning increased communication efforts between the faculty and the Administration.
