Abstract:
President Pugsley presided. Dr. Irwin Cohen reported on the status of the Senate Council whose charge is setting up the agenda for Senate meetings. Pugsley suggests to the Senate that some of the committees should have student representation but not all of them. Issues with adopting textbooks in time for classes are discussed. Pugsley address to the Senate three problems to overcome : the operation under the new Quarter System, the understanding of fringe benefits of faculty, and overcrowding.
