dc.description.abstract	President Jones presided over the meeting. The Report of the Curriculum Committee approved the In-Service program in Biology and Mathematics sponsored by the National Science Foundation for secondary school teachers.The Discipline Committee motioned on the punishment for students involved in the destruction of property. President Jones announced a gift to the university of 2,000 by Mr. Watson. Jones also discussed enrollment figures, the admissions policy, and dropouts. He requested that Senate members spend a period before fall going over the "Guide for Evaluation of Institutions of Higher Education" in an attempt to evaluate the institution.	en_US
