dc.description.abstract | Dr. Chet Cooper, vice chair of the Academic Senate, presided. The Ohio Faculty Council reported the April 9 meeting will feature the penultimate draft of the report of the Governor's Commission on Higher Education and the Economy. An update is given on the Williamson College of Business Administration. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported that elections for Senators for next year are currently taking place within the Colleges. The Academic Programs Committee reported two proposals have been approved with one pending course approval by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. The General Education Committee reported the University is in the midst of assessment for General Education Courses. The Library Committee made two motions: one to approve the allocations for 2004-2005 and second to increase the library base budget by $1000 when any College receives approval for a new program. Both motions passed. | |
