Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of June 01, 1983

Abstract

Chairman Larry Esterly presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported on appointments to chartered Senate committees and subcommittees. Elections and Balloting Committee reported all Senate elections had been completed. The Curriculum Division of the Academic Programs and Curriculum Committee reported. The Programs division reported on a four-point set of procedures for processing of proposals related to new programs. Academic Planning Committee reported. Informal reports were given by the Academic Standards and Events Committee and the Continuing Education Subcommittee. The Student Academic Affairs Committee reported on the Fine and Performing Arts requirement.
