dc.description.abstract	Dr. Jenkins, Chair, presided. D. O'Neill was approved to serve as Senate Parliamentarian and V. Phillips as Secretary to the Senate. Elections and Balloting Committee announced Dr. William Jenkins was elected Chair of the Senate with P. Baldino as Vice Chair. The Senate Executive Committee motioned to recommend a change in the status of academic administrators. The Presidential Search Committee has met once. The President's Planning Committee has also met once. Dr. Rost reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. Discussion continued on the Ad Hoc Committee report on Semester/Quarter Issue with arguments for and against the current quarter system.
