Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of April 07, 1993

Abstract

Dr. Baldino, Chair, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported that Dr. Baldino will resign as Chair of the Senate at the end of the meeting. The Curriculum Division reported for informational purposes. The Integrated Technologies Committee reported on recommendations to the Senate. The Academic Programs Committee reported on a motion to change the name of Civil Engineering to Civil and Environmental Engineering, discussion followed with the motion being table until next month. Dr. Scanlon gave remarks on the missions and goals, computers for faculty, and the funds for Fiscal Year 1994. Dr. Baldino gave closing remarks in regards to his resignation as Chairperson of the Senate.
