Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of May 04, 1994

Abstract

Virginia Phillips, Chair, presided. Elections and Balloting Committee reported that elections for Senate positions are proceeding. The Senate Executive Committee of the Senate reported an ad hoc committee to make a recommendation to Academic Standards and Event Committee on Experiential Learning has been appointed and that the SEC will meet to identify faculty for various Senate Committees. Remarks were given by the Provost on the OBOR Workload and the need for the YSU Board of Trustees to establish a workload policy. The Academic Programs Committee and the University Curriculum Committee gave informational reports. The Academic Standards and Events Committee reported on the University's incomplete grade policy and incomplete form.
