dc.description.abstract	Sunil Ahuja, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. President Sweet gave a report on the American Council on Education, The Board of Trustees, Chancellor Eric Fingerhut and his 10-year plan for Ohio higher education, the Community College and NEOUCOM. Joe Edwards gave an update on the Provost Search Committee. Bege Bowers reported on the Higher Learning Commission wrapping up its report on the University. Elections and Balloting Committee reported department election results were due by March 15. The Executive Committee reported and a report on the Ohio Faculty Council was given. Academic Programs, Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and the General Education Committee gave informational reports. In New Business a motioned was referred to the Academic Planning Committee on listing course offerings six semesters in advance.
