dc.description.abstract Jim Morrison, Chair, presided. The Senate Executive Committee appointed an Ad Hoc Committee to formulate a statement about academic ethics. The resolution on reciprocal fee remission was revised slightly. Duane Rost reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee to the Chancellor focusing on Ohio's Master Plan for Higher Education, five "challenges" in the budget requests and the system compiling faculty-staff data. The Academic Programs Committee reported on the business proposal. The Honors Committee proposed a two-year associate's honors program. The General Education Requirements Ad Hoc Committee reported on some of its preliminary decisions with hopes to make its recommendations by late winter or early spring.
