Abstract

Presented are the agenda and minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on June 6, 1950. Highlights include: the invitation for YoCo to join the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, Inc.; the appointment of a Professor of Military Science to administer YoCo’s new Army ROTC program; enrollment figures; changes in faculty status; the appointment of an acting dean of the Rayen School of Engineering; the making of application to the Engineers’ Council for Professional Engineering; the percentage of students applying for summer employment stood at 90 – 95 percent; the creation of an alumni bulletin by the journalism class; and recommendations for degrees.
