Abstract

Presented are the agenda and minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on May 26, 1948. Highlights include: the enrollment report; the granting of summer academic leave to four instructors; reports on awards won by the YoCo debate teams and The Jambar; a report on scholarships; the approval of salary increases; a report by the Friends of the Youngstown College Library; the approval of the bestowal of honorary degrees upon John Tod and John Dale Russell; the approval of faculty recommendations for the conferring of degrees; and the approval of plans for commencement. The financial report was also submitted for approval. Documents are variants of each other.
