Abstract:
Presented are the agenda and minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on October 22, 1948. Highlights include: the appointment of a committee to discuss property owned by the Butler Institute of American Art; the purchase of an insurance policy on the life of President Howard Jones; the report on enrollment; a report on the status of the physical plant; the receipt of government surplus office equipment; the establishment of the plant insurance schedule; the announcement of a cooperative nursing program between YoCo and the City Hospitals; the creation of a committee to explore the acquisition of an Army ROTC program at YoCo; reports on testing contracts with the Veterans Administration; and the financial report. Documents are variants of one anothers.
