Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on October 21, 1946. President Jones submitted figures on enrollment, citing that 1500 students had to be turned away. Sixteen new full-time and 50 part-time faculty were added to the teaching staff. President Jones related that the Youngstown City Schools proposed that both the Schools and YoCo share a qualified (female) psychologist on a 50/50 timeframe basis. Jones further recommended faculty salary increases and defined the various faculty levels. A status report on property was provided to the Board. A resolution for a veteran’s education facilities program was passed.
