June 2, 1942: Board of Governors Meeting Minutes

Abstract

Presented is the agenda of the meeting of the Board of Governors of Youngstown College on June 2, 1942. A list of candidates for graduation was attached, as was the financial report. The faculty selected Dr. J.E. Smith as their representative to the YoCo Board of Governors. The possible expansion of YoCo’s role in defense training was discussed. The Music School Committee made its report, as did the Nominating Committee. The time and place for commencement was set, with President J.J. Tigert of the University of Florida being the main speaker.
