Abstract:
Presented is the agenda of the meeting of the Board of Governors of Youngstown College on April 9, 1942. Enrollment declined by 469, all within the day liberal arts division. National Defense courses were to be started soon, in conjunction with the Case School of Applied Sciences. Courses in cost accounting for defense and materials procurement were offered with the help of Western Reserve University. The U.S. Navy approved the establishment of training programs at YoCo. The summer term was lengthened from 9 to 12 weeks. Changes in the faculty and the schedule for the 1942 football season were announced. The library report was offered and the financial report was attached.
