| dc.description.abstract | Presented are the minutes of the meeting of the Board of Governors of Youngstown College on March 22, 1935. Mr. James Wick (Chairman) provided the Board with a brief history of the educational activities of the Youngstown YMCA. Director Howard Jones’ s title was changed to “President of Youngstown College.” The Executive Committee was chosen. The financial report was submitted for the Board’s approval. An inspection conducted by the Ohio College Association was reported, with it being unlikely that YoCo would be accepted into the OCA due to a lack of endowment funds. FERA funding, additions the faculty, and scholarships were discussed. The objectives of Youngstown College were also clarified. | en_US |
