dc.description.abstract Presented are the minutes of the June 13, 1932 meeting of the Youngstown College Board of Governors. James L. Wick, Jr. presided as chairman, with Herman Hurd acting as recording secretary. Mr. Wick provided a brief history of Youngstown College, then called upon Franklin Powers to explain the duties of the Board as provided in the amended bylaws of the YMCA. Director Howard Jones provided a summary of the accomplishments of the College to date (the full text of which is included with these minutes). A discussion was held relating to the continued existence of the Law School, after which it was decided to continue the School for one year without accepted a freshman class in order to reorganize and to improve standards. en_US
